The business world came together at the 5th anniversary of the International Business People’s Association (İNTİSAD). Nearly 400 guests from the business world attended the anniversary night organized in Istanbul. At the night; leading companies that are members of INTISAD were also given a plaque of appreciation.
Speaking at the ceremony, which was hosted by Mesut Yar, INTISAD President, Businessman and Lawyer Selahattin Par said, “We are going through difficult economic conditions in our country as in the whole world. Even if coping with these difficulties is exhausting, we are working with all our strength to turn the situation into an opportunity without giving up. Neither the economic crisis, nor the pandemic, nor other reasons could diminish our strength. I can proudly say that by traveling 25 thousand kilometers in 5 years, we have contributed to the creation of a business volume of approximately 100 million dollars. We have led our members to establish new business associations and find new markets. Internationally, we have laid the foundations of many business associations in Belgium, Russia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Germany and Ghana. In every country we visited, we paid attention to promoting our cultural and national values as well as trade with both chambers of commerce and large companies. As a result of our efforts abroad, we have very valuable guests from Russia, Africa and Germany among us today. I would like to state that we are pleased to welcome them in our country.”
“We prepare our university students for business life”
Continuing his words, Par said, “Among the founders of our association İNTİSAD, there are not only investors and business people, but also very valuable academicians. The contributions of the academic community to the business world are undeniable. We have successfully realized our goals such as mentoring our students studying at universities, preparing them for business life, and guiding them to open up to the world. With these efforts, we are building our tomorrow in a strong way while improving our today. Before concluding my speech, I would like to announce our activities in the African continent and Turkic Republics in 2023 and 2024.”
At the night, the “Green Will Save the World” project launched by the association in 2017 and new generation production policies for environmentally friendly production and protection of ecological balance were also brought to the agenda.
While many names attended the ceremony, Selçuk Balcı was appreciated with his songs.
